ENAR in the transformation of Spotify Camp Nou

Location: Spain
Date: 2027 December
The renovation of Spotify Camp Nou, part of the Espai Barça project, represents one of the most ambitious transformations in the sports sector at a European level.
With an expected capacity of approximately 105,000 spectators, the new stadium will establish itself as one of the largest in Europe. The project includes a comprehensive renovation of the venue, including the reconstruction of the stands, the installation of a complete roof, and the modernization of all services and infrastructure.
The works, which began in 2022–2023, are being carried out in a complex urban environment and in multiple phases, with completion expected around 2027.

The challenge

The renovation of Spotify Camp Nou presents a combination of technical, logistical, and operational challenges that make it a highly complex project. One of the main challenges is carrying out a structural renovation on an existing stadium, which requires the coexistence of original elements and new structures. While the first two stands have been renovated, the third has been completely demolished, integrating new structural and architectural solutions.
Added to this challenge is the execution within a consolidated urban environment, with limitations of space, noise, access, and logistics. The site covers a total area of more than 200,000 m², which requires precise coordination among multiple work fronts and specialized teams.
Another critical factor is phased execution with the stadium partially operational. Since late 2025, the venue has progressively reopened with limited capacity, requiring construction work to be compatible with the stadium's activity.
In this context, the reliability and performance of the machinery become determining factors in ensuring the continuity of the work and meeting the required quality standards.
